BOOKING RULES AND HOW TO’S
Making a booking
You can make a booking via The Travellist by contacting us via Facebook, this website or directly via email.
Please be aware that due to exchange rates and supplier request, we may occasionally have to change pricing. We accept no responsibility for this change to pricing, however we will of course make every attempt to give you the correct pricing at time of booking. If the exchange rate change or pricing change results in an increase of fare, you are liable to pay this increase or you cancel the booking but be aware of the cancellation fees.
All bookings require a 50% deposit at time of booking confirmation, directly into our Australian bank account. These banking details we will provide at time of booking. Once a booking is within 30 days of your arrival date, the remaining 50% must be paid into the same account. If bookings are made within 30 days, the full 100% of the booking must be paid at time of confirmation. If we become aware of price changes, or changes to the supplier information or terms and conditions, from time of confirmation of bookings to arrival date, we will let you know how this will affect your booking, if at all. We do not accept cash payments, unless already agreed, and we do not accept credit card payments. All prices will be in Australian dollars unless stated.
While we understand that sometimes you need to change or cancel your plans, there may be cancellation fees due to supplier or hotel terms and conditions. We have applied general cancellation rules. Any bookings cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date, are NON refundable. Any bookings cancelled outside of 30 days from arrival date, will have a NON refundable deposit. You may also find in both circumstances there are cancellation fees from the hotel or supplier. However if you inform us of your cancellation and the reason for cancelling as soon as you can via email, we will consider all cases and the hotel/supplier may be able to offer a credit to be used within a specified time period. If you change any part of your accomodation arrangements, you may find there are amendment fees that are levied by the supplier and that must be paid by you. We will not consider refunds for cancelled accomodation due to inclement weather or illness. This must be claimed from your insurance provider.
We strongly suggest you ensure you have adequate travel insurance. It is essential that your travel insurance cover you for involuntary cancellation of holidays, including airfares.
