Part of living in a new country is to try everything, travel everywhere, do island tours and enjoy new experiences. In Indonesia, you can do all of that literally on the doorstep of your own home. I spend a lot of time travelling around Bali and it’s islands and normally I’m in a hurry to get to wherever I am going. Nusa Lembongan is a regular island tour for me and it’s become so second nature to jump on a fast boat, it hasn’t occurred to me that there might be a more relaxed, slower way to get to the island.
This blog is about the Bali Hai Day Tour and Cruise to Nusa Lembongan. It’s definitely a more relaxed way to get to Nusa Lembongan, with a bigger boat…and they even gave me a coffee and cake when I got on the boat! This boat is very comfortable, provides morning tea and has a drinks menu, shows movies of the island and water activities, and unlike the fast boats, it’s a dock and dry beach departure and landing. Anyone could take this boat to Lembongan but I think it’s particularly good for families with kids or babies, older people or those who just don’t like the idea of getting their feet and clothes wet getting on and off the boat.
And for new adventurers to Lembongan, the cruise helps you plan your trip by showing you what you can do when staying on the island or even just visiting for the day – diving, aquanauts, water slides, banana boats….as busy or as relaxed as you like. Me, well I tend to completely wind down after that cruise and find I have just enough energy to stroll up the beach to Hai Bar & Grill for a mojito…
