Villa Bukit comprises of 2 traditionally designed Balinese villas located on the forested slopes of the island, Nusa Lembongan. Enjoy the 180 degree panoramic views overlooking the Badung Straight towards the majestic Mt Agung and the mainland of Bali. These private three bedroom villas are ideal for couples, families or groups of friends and are positioned for peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy the surf and village.

The Villas
VILLA 1
Villa Bukit 1 is a villa which sleeps up to eight people and is located above the village of Jungut Batu, Nusa Lembongan. Capturing spectacular views across the Badung Strait to Mt Agung, the traditionally designed Balinese family compound features a pitched and thatched (Alang-Alang) roof, carved doors, Balinese temple, stone bathrooms and king size four poster beds. The living and eating areas are surrounded by landscaped gardens and a 33 sqm pool. When you book your holiday at Villa Bukit, you can be assured of privacy in a traditional setting.

Rumah Ombak
Rumah Ombak, meaning ‘room with a surf view’ is furnished with a four posted king-size bed, situated upstairs with a private balcony and breath taking views over the waves of the Badung Strait. The room is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, King-Koil mattress, mosquito netting, walk in robe and hair-dryer. A large Buddha carving situated on the bedroom wall provides spiritual comfort whilst you sleep. Large sliding glass doors lead you onto a private balcony, furnished with sun lounge, table and chairs to enjoy the stunning view out to the ocean, Bali mainland and Badung Strait. The large en-suite with terrazzo bath, large open shower, vanity and toilet are equipped with environmentally friendly ‘Republic of Soap’ products and cotton bathrobe.
Rumah Kebun
Rumah Kebun, meaning ‘room in garden’ is furnished with a four posted king-size bed, situated at ground level surrounded by ponds and landscaped gardens. The extra large room is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, King-Koil mattress, mosquito netting, walk in robe and hair-dryer. A large Buddha carving situated on the bedroom wall provides spiritual comfort whilst you sleep. Large sliding doors lead directly onto the pool deck or into the garden. The large en-suite with terrazzo bath, large open shower, vanity and toilet are equipped with environmentally friendly ‘Republic of Soap’ products and cotton bathrobe.
Rumah Agung
Rumah Agung, meaning ‘room with mountain view’ is furnished with a four posted king-size bed, with an additional loft area with two king-size single beds, ideal for families. Rumah Agung is situated upstairs with a private balcony with views over the island, ocean and Mt Agung. The room is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, King-Koil mattress, mosquito netting, walk in robe and hair dryer. Large sliding glass doors lead you onto a private balcony, furnished with sunlounge, table and chairs to enjoy the view of the majestic Mt Agung. The en-suite, without bath, is equipped with a large open shower, vanity, toilet, environmentally friendly ‘Republic of Soap’ products, hair-dryer and cotton bathrobe.
Living Rooms:
Indoor Living
Situated on the ground floor, this spacious fan cooled living room is a place to sit and relax whilst gazing out over the pool, across the landscaped gardens to the stunning Mt Agung. Furnished with comfortable antique daybeds and locally crafted console and study nook, the open plan living room provides another area in the villa to sit and relax, surrounded by large glass bi-fold and sliding doors that open up onto the pool deck and the lush tropical garden. For your convenience, a powder room is located through the carved wooden doors.
Outdoor Living
Located in the tropical gardens are the traditional ‘bales’ shade huts which provide a place to ponder, read a book, gaze at the view or take part in a massage. The Balinese Temple, where offerings are placed daily is also located in the garden. The pool has been designed to remain cool and refreshing, positioned between the two pavilions of the villa and adjacent to fishpond and water feature. Enjoy the imposing carved wall sculpture, or dive into the 33 sqm pool and do your laps before breakfast.
The social hub of the villa, where meals are enjoyed and people gather, is the extra large wooden dining table that seats up to ten guests. Here, the kitchen staff will tempt you with their local Indonesian cuisine, as well as some of your favourites from home.

- The Balinese adore children and Villa Bukit promotes a fun family atmosphere. However, due to the configuration of the villa, such as the steep loft staircase and the proximity of the pool to the lounge-room, we feel the villa is more suited to children 8 years and over. Please inform the staff if your children cannot swim, as the depth of pool is 1.8metres. If you require supervision for your children, please speak to Villa Bukit staff.
Villa Bukit 1
VILLA 2
Villa Bukit 2 has a feeling of space, with great entertainment areas, fantastic for couples with the extra large upstairs bedroom. It sleeps up to eight people and is located above the village of Jungut Batu, Nusa Lembongan. The living and eating areas are surrounded by landscaped gardens and a 27 sqm pool.

BEDROOM ONE
Step into the serene elegance of Bedroom 1, a bright and airy space designed for ultimate relaxation. This room features a luxurious king-sized bed adorned with crisp white linens, a traditional batik runner, and a decorative pillow for a local touch. The romantic mosquito net canopy adds a soft, dreamy feel, while warm ambient lighting from handcrafted bedside lamps creates a cosy evening atmosphere.
The room opens out to a private terrace with bamboo accents and outdoor seating, perfect for a morning coffee or quiet reading time. Natural elements like the thatched ceiling, carved wall panel, and wooden sliding doors blend seamlessly with modern comforts, including air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom accessible through a rustic wooden doorway.
Ideal for couples or solo travellers, Bedroom 1 offers a perfect blend of Balinese charm and contemporary comfort.
BEDROOM TWO
This bedroom is situated downstairs and opens out onto the garden and pool area. It has a has two king-sized single beds with mosquito nets and a Buddha sculpture bedhead. It has an ensuite bathroom with a large shower and environmentally friendly bath products.
BEDROOM THREE: (PARENT’S RETREAT)
This room is the main bedroom, situated upstairs. It is a parent’s retreat with a very large kingsize four poster bed and a children single four poster bed. This can be used for a child or teenager. It has built in wardrobes and an ensuite with a Balinese stone bath and shower. We provide large soft bath towels and environmentally friendly bath products. The upstairs area also has a very large open air lounge room with cane lounges and an extra day bed which can be used for an extra guest.

Indoor Living
The indoor living space is situated upstairs, capturing the spectacular surrounding views of the mainland with MT Agung in the foreground. It is open aired with a relaxed, spiritual feel. Lie lie back, breath in the crisp clean air and watch the bird life – tiny Finches, Balinese Minors and Wrens flying around the forested slopes.
Traditional bamboo blinds can be drawn giving a feeling of total escape. t has woven banana cane seating – 3 x three seater sofas, 1 x four seater lounges and two double lay-back lounge chairs.
Outdoor Living
Our indoor/outdoor kitchen dining with the pool right there to cool off is just amazing and with all our guests this is what gets the wow factor. Our traditional Balinese Bale huts and our traditional outrigger boat seat gives you various options to relax in the shade or grab a deck chair to catch up on that tan.
Villa 2 has its very own private massage bale which is all yours. One our trained masseurs can come to you and totally relax your body with special oils and massages – this is a beautiful way to end the day.

- Villa Bukit has a team of dedicated staff, drawn from the local community. They can plan and prepare all meals at your request, including Indonesian and Western food, as detailed in our in-house menu.
Breakfasts are not included in the daily rate but for a small cost a delicious Indonesian or American breakfast can be made for you. - Villa Bukit staff are also happy to make a reservation for you at any of Nusa Lembongan’s local restaurants. All fresh produce is transported from the mainland, so prior notice is essential; also an additional levy of 16% (service and government tax) will be added to all food and drinks.
- VILLA TRANSPORT
Villa Bukit can organise passenger truck transport to and from the villa as well as hiring of mopeds, etc (at your own risk).
A lot of local restaurants will pick up and top off for free. Golf buggies can also be hired from the Village.
